I have a passion for English teaching, writing & music; I was a student at university, an engineer but in the 5th year I realized that it was not something my heart had an inclination towards,so I changed the university from technical to the humanities-“Philology and Journalism”-”Art and Humanities”, “Theatrical Directing” & “Spoken English”. I wasn’t a natural, I mean the person who learnt something quickly and naturally...I remember sitting on my balcony with an English book for days on end so I had to kick my 'tail end' to get this knowledge under my belt, and I realized that the advantage of this was-when you learned something that wasn’t given to you on a plate, you worked on it acquiring the skill-you appreciate it greatly. But what’s more, I realised that it didn’t have to be that hard if you found your own unique way to study, on the contrary, it became an exciting journey. ​ My love for the language led me to a master’s degree in Linguistics—'Theory and Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures' in 2020; I defended my work-“The Magic Of Being Creative or Unorthodox Ways of Connecting Your Passion In Life With English”,with distinction. The best way to learn the language is to connect it with your passion in life. When you connect learning with something that you love you learn more enthusiastically and with a great deal of interest. So, the secret of conquering English lies in expressing your personality using this language-as simple as that. You see, the mechanics of the language-,they are quite simple-we have words, sentences and grammar that greases the wheels and a teacher who shows how to use it. But it’s just a tool. It is similar to the musicians practising their scales until they are blue in the face to make their fingers stronger but it’s not the music, it’s not the song, your song. To create the song you need to put your personality into it. But what does it mean-your personality? It is everything that forms you as a person. Your opinions, likes, dislikes, which books you prefer, what you think about politics,a meal that you can’t stand, people you gravitate towards-everything that makes you, you. But everybody’s personality is different which means you need to find a unique way for you to study, then perfect it—when I’m talking about a unique way, I mean the way that motivates you, challenges you and makes you feel like you can’t get enough of English—and then direct your energy to exploring this particular path. The key to conquering the English language lies in discovering your voice. Let your story guide you!
