The formation of Stereo Cult: Archer and musical partner Kristin Alexandria joined together as a passionate songwriter duo in early 2011, quickly yielding an extensive catalog of harmony-driven songs and generating a local buzz. Wasting little time, the two began traveling the country, developing their live sound by playing at small venues and jamming with session players at open mic events. Making use of devices like a jailbroken iPad, Kaossillator, and MOOG & Korg synths, the duo wrote electronic bass, guitar, drum, and synth parts. The remainder of 2011 was spent in the studio and building up hype about the debut EP with exiting releases of media. With a common vision for what direction in which to take their live sound, the couple found drummer Hunter McWaters. Guitarist Majkut and bassist Marah soon followed, forming what would come to be known as Stereo Cult. Archer: Archer has an ever expanding music career as a performer with Vocals, guitar, and synthesizers, as well as working on the production side from writing to release of more than 3 albums. He has described the band as being influenced by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), The Pixies, and Radiohead. Alexandria: A talented singer, songwriter, and performer that will no longer be kept secret. Together with Archer she shares not only harmony but sole and love. Together they bring this band to the world. Alexandria has often cited Nirvana and Alison Mosshart as personal influences. The sound of Stereo Cult: Stereo Cult is a rock n' roll band described as having an electronic grunge sound but not limited with clean guitar sounds and caressing vocals. Incoming beats urge your body to move along as your voice begins to harmonize with the haunting and catchy melodies. fronted by singers Archer and Alexandria.
