Masters of pyrotechnic artistry for over 250 years In 1793 the Ruggieri brothers left their native Italy for Paris where their shining career led them to become the official pyrotechnicians of king Louis XIV. This family of pyrotechnicians has never ceased to put its art at the service of celebrations of historical import and of public celebrations. In 1997, its course of history met with that of the pyrotechnics company, Etienne Lacroix, itself boasting 150 years of experience. Ruggieri and Lacroix joined their forces and know-how. Ruggieri has since become the undisputed European leader as it orchestrates major pyrotechnic events nationally and internationally and sets on fire concert tours of major stars, thereby perpetuating the centuries-old festive tradition. The latest recognition of its continuous rigor and inventiveness came with the Jupiter award, received in Montreal, Canada. Research and creativity Spectators clearly delight in viewing the latest creations. Each year, Ruggieri's research laboratory significantly invests its efforts in enhancing spectator delight. Chemists enrich the color palette and engineers come up with new inventions and special effects. Staying on top of the pyrotechnic entertainment industry wouldn't be possible without this continuous effort in research. Artistic design Ruggieri is known in every corner of France and is working its way around the globe. In the Major Events division our “artists”, like a conductor, compose musical scores and corresponding fireworks displays. Pyromelodies are given equal attention in our separately-located studio to enchant spectators on summer evenings throughout France. Freight & Logistics Safe transport of all kinds is ensured in compliance with regulations. The Ruggieri Logistics Department has demonstrated its skill in delivering fireworks to locations around the world. Moreover, it benefits from a dense network of distributors which serves as an indispensable means of supply to our clientele. Installation and firing Ruggieri's pyrotechnicians put as much heart and know-how into major city displays as into those of small towns. The reason is simple : all our pyrotechnicians have learned their profession alongside those of the Major Events division and our distributors. To take part in performing large-scale displays, pyrotechnicians first receive appropriate training in our K4 training center. This is a service that Ruggieri's position requires it to provide to its pyrotechnicians. Quality Ruggieri was the first fireworks company in the world to be certified ISO 9001 : 2000 for its industrial and commercial processes, from product design to the final stage of use. This certification ensures equal treatment to our clientele.
