“Bridge It” motivates young adults from Latvia and North-West of Russia, incl. Kaliningrad to become civically engaged. The program consists of several events which will be held within the period from the 16th July till the 2nd December. By participating in the “Bridge It!” project, you will:: • learn more about your neighbor countries and democracy • be able to look at the issues from different points of view and be more critical • discuss issues relevant for your societies • develop personal and social competences • improve your management skills • initiate a project in the target region • build up a network of like-minded people The program schedule of project „Bridge it!” includes an introductory seminar to the topic Power of the ImagiNation July 16-26, 2012, a kick-off meeting September 1, 2012, project implementation September – November, 2012 and a reflection seminar November 29 – December 2, 2012. Board, lodging and travel costs (up to 70%) for the two seminars will be covered or reimbursed by the organizers. We encourage you to apply for the introductory seminar „Power of ImagiNation” if you: - Live in North-West Russia, Kaliningrad or Latvia; - Are between the ages of 18 to 25; - Care about what is going on in your community and want to influence it; - Have a working knowledge of English.
