FLEX Alumni Professional Mentoring Program. The FLEX Alumni Mentoring Program is a cross-generation FLEX alumni program aimed to connect senior and junior alumni and strengthen the community’s ties. Muskie and UGRAD alumni are also invited to participate FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) Program is the exchange program, which allows high school students to spend an academic year in the USA. As a result of multistep selection process and the unique experience in the USA, FLEX alumni turn out to be highly educated,ambitious and competent professionals, graduates of the leading universities, with the expanded global outreach.They strive for the outstanding achievements in their lives and careers and represent the avant-gard moving power of the society. The mission of the Program is to transmit the professional and personal experience of senior alumni to junior alumni for the common benefit of the community and each alumnus/alumna individually. By the means of this program the younger alumni will be able to practically develop the long-term plan of their careers with the expertise of their older peers, and the senior alumni will gain the experience of talent incubation and management. Intended outcomes of the Program include younger alumni receiving job offers and internships in companies as the subordinates of their mentors or other leading companies of the market. Mentoring Program in Moscow is a pilot project for a major Eurasia-wide initiative which can be applied in the major FLEX alumni resident cities – Kiyv, St. Petersburg, Almaty, Baku, etc. Mentoring Program will include the most up-to-date training techniques and materials. Outstanding trainers will cover the most actual topics essential for the successful development of the professional: strategic life-management, time-management, goal-setting, social networking, etc. In the process of the Program all both mentors and mentees will participate in 4 big trainings devoted to the key topics of professional development. After each training each mentor will arrange smaller meetings with assigned mentees, guide them through fullfilling the tasks of the handbook, share thoughts on the relevant topic, etc. Additional communication via Internet, phone calls is highly encouraged. FLEX Alumni Mentoring Program is open to cooperation with professional trainers and specialists, whose experience would be useful for the fulfillment of the Program mission, and any other potenial partners.
